The first-named and most praised of the five
Istarior Wizards who came to the Middle Earth from the Undying Lands.
He is the counselor of the mighty and is the
possessor of the ring Narya. By his wisdom he guided the people of Middle Earth to victory
over the dark Lord Sauron. In this goblet, Gandalf is portrayed as learned and wise.
The cup is in the shape of his head and his
beard flows downwards from the cup, forming the stem and base of the goblet. |
