Son of Thranduil, Lord of the Elves of Mirkwood. He set out
from Rivendell with the Company of the Ring, and journeyed with Aragorn and Gimli through
the southern lands of Middle Earth during the War of the Ring.
This Elven prince of the Woodland Realm became a member of the Fellowship of the Ring and
his
great woodland skills proved to be of great value during the Quest. After Boromir's death,
the Fellowship parted ways and Legolas went off with Gimli the Dwarf and Aragorn to fight
