Her Quenya name was Altarial, but in Middle Earth she was know as Galadriel, the
Lady of Light. She was the bearer of the Elven Ring Nenya and used its power to protect
her realm, Lothlorien, from the ravages of time. She passed into the West after the defeat
of Sauron.
The Elven Queen of Lothlorien and keeper of Nenya, Ring of Adamant, one of the Three Elven
Rings of Power. Galadriel's power held off the ravages of time, made her aware of Sauron's
moves and caused her people to be invisible to Sauron's eye.
